EVO VIII Center Council & Stick Shift Surround Removal
Center glove box:
Open the center glove box and remove the 2 screws. Pull the parking brake into the up position. Lift the front of the center glove box to detach 2 clips. Lift the glove box assembly around the parking brake to remove.
   

Lower driver side panel:
Unscrew the plastic clip then remove the clip housing. Remove the driver side panel. Push the center of the punch clip and remove it from the center council.

   

Lower passenger side panel:
Pull the lower passenger side panel away from the center council. There are 2 clips holding it in place. With this panel removed, push the center of the punch clip and remove it from the center council.

   

Center council removal:
Pull the ashtray out and remove the screw found underneath. Remove the 2 screws located behind the stick shift and disconnect the cigarette lighter connection. Remove your stick shift handle. Lift and pull towards the back of the car to remove the center council. It will be a tight fit around the seats as you remove the panel.
